For one fleeting moment, he smiles. And that was all I have from him as a parting gift… No photographs, no messages to make me cling on to. Every moment we spent together has been tucked into the warm blanket of my heart, but will the blanket stay? Will the heart be stolen from its sanctuary and thrown into the shivering cold?
Memories fade with age… Feelings won’t remain eternal… Life must go on. And yes, this heart has frozen and… it now belongs to me not.
